This offering was inspired during a walk together in nature. Christina was reflecting on her overworked and burned-out clients, who shared that a lack of energy was the biggest obstacle to eating well and staying active. Tamara was reflecting on how so many people say, “Why don’t I do this more?” when attending her nature connection experiences, intended to help folks slow down. We wanted to offer you a space to reflect on what will maintain your physical and mental vitality throughout every season, not just at the start of the year.

Christina Dominguez, a functional nutrition registered dietitian and founder of Synergy Nutrition and Wellness, brings over a decade of expertise in nutrition and dietetics, coupled with advanced training in integrative and functional nutrition. Christina is passionate about bridging the gap between cutting-edge nutritional science and the realities of everyday life.
Through her private practice, she offers a variety of personalized services, including grocery shopping guidance to empower clients to create their own "medicinal" kitchens, practical meal planning, and culinary education that transforms healthy eating into an enjoyable and sustainable lifestyle.
Christina deeply understands the profound connection between nutrition, mental health and nature. She approaches her work with a reverence for the natural world, recognizing that the foods we eat are a direct reflection of our relationship with the environment. By teaching clients how to incorporate whole, nutrient-dense foods from the earth into their diets she fosters a reconnection with the rhythms of nature. In her personal life, she integrates time in nature as a therapeutic tool, encouraging her clients to engage with their surroundings as a source of healing and balance. For Christina, nutrition is more than just what we eat—it’s about harmonizing our health with the ecosystems around us.

Tamara Murray believes everyone belongs in nature because we are nature.
Tamara earned her forest bathing guide certification from the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, a global leader in guide training. She holds a current Wilderness First Aid certification from NOLS and is a proud member of the Outdoorist Oath community, dedicated to planet, inclusion and adventure.
Her “indoor job” is providing strategic communications consulting to social-change nonprofits, which means she is a human juggling the pressures of modern life like the rest of us. She started Nature Connection Santa Barbara because nature has always been the place where she feels alive and most like herself. She is passionate about introducing others to being in nature in whatever way feels right for them.
Tamara loves to geek out on lifestyle design. In 2013, Tamara and her husband set out to live more intentionally. They started by quitting their jobs and taking a one-year sabbatical traveling Latin America with their 15-year-old dog. Then they lived and worked while traveling by van across North America before #vanlife was a thing before putting down roots in Santa Barbara in 2017.

We can’t create more time… but what if we could create more energy? Join us for this masterclass with experts in health, well-being, and living intentionally.
More energy to prioritize what matters most to you
